System Compatibility and Durability
Suitable for most properties, this electric underfloor heating range is ideal for newbuild and renovation projects, with options to suit both large open-plan bathrooms and smaller, irregularly shaped spaces. Both Stickymat and Loose Wire systems are designed using high-quality dual-core resistive heating cables with robust FEP (Teflon) inner insulation and a durable 4mm PVC outer coating for long-lasting performance.
Stickymat and Loose Wire Systems
- The Stickymat system is perfect for standard-shaped areas, with evenly spaced heating cables fixed at 65mm intervals across a durable mesh backing. Simply roll out, cut, flip and stick down to fit the room layout. Available in a range of sizes from 1m² to 10m².
- In contrast, the Loose Wire system offers maximum flexibility and is ideal for more awkward or confined spaces. The cable can be arranged to suit the layout of the room, ensuring a tailored heat distribution even in tricky spaces.
To enhance the system’s efficiency, Tile Backer Boards are available to reduce heat loss by up to 25% and provide a stable, waterproof base layer.
